Construction Management

Even the best design cannot assure project success.  It is important that the design intent be communicated to and implemented by the construction contractor.  JLM Engineering, Inc. personnel have spent much of their professional careers working with constructors, administering contracts to both assure project success and remain within budget.  The client’s best interests are always the guiding principle in our work.

Construction administration involves experience and expertise in many different areas.  These include: bidding assistance, “partnering”, pre-construction meetings and coordination, review of compliance submittals to assure design intent is met, observation of construction activities, materials testing, measurement of quantities, negotiation of change orders, coordination with regulatory agencies, preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, and project close-out.  JLM Engineering, Inc. personnel offer this experience and expertise.
